YouTube Dislike Viewer for Mobile — Android & iPhone

For Android users who want a dedicated app experience, the Return Dislike Button app (package name: maa.returnytdislikebuttton) is available on the official Google Play Store. The app has over 100,000 downloads and works as a share target — you share a YouTube video link to the app and it displays the dislike data in a native interface.

How to use it: Install the app from Google Play. Open YouTube, find a video, tap Share. In the share sheet, look for "Return Dislike Button" and tap it. The app opens and displays the like count, dislike count, and ratio for that video. No sign-in required.

This method is slightly more steps than our online tool but provides a native Android app experience. The data comes from the same Return YouTube Dislike community source, so accuracy is identical.

Firefox for Android is the only major mobile browser that supports a meaningful range of browser extensions. The Return YouTube Dislike addon is available for Firefox for Android and provides automatic dislike display — meaning when you watch YouTube in Firefox's browser, the dislike count appears automatically next to the like button, exactly as it does on desktop.

Setup: Install Firefox from the Google Play Store if you do not already have it. Open Firefox, tap the three-dot menu, tap Add-ons, search for "Return YouTube Dislike", and install it. Now when you open youtube.com in Firefox for Android and watch any video, the dislike count will appear automatically. This is the closest mobile equivalent to the desktop extension experience.

The limitation: this only works when watching YouTube in the Firefox browser app, not in the standalone YouTube app. If you primarily use the YouTube app for watching content, this method requires a habit change — switching to Firefox for YouTube browsing. Many users find the automatic dislike display worth the switch.

YouTube ReVanced is a community-patched version of the YouTube Android app that removes ads, adds sponsor-blocking, and — crucially — includes Return YouTube Dislike integration built in. Unlike the other methods, ReVanced actually modifies the YouTube app itself, meaning the dislike count appears within the native YouTube interface exactly where it used to be, without switching browsers or using a separate tool.

However, YouTube ReVanced requires manual setup: downloading the ReVanced Manager app from the official GitHub release, patching a YouTube APK, and installing it alongside or instead of the official YouTube app. This process is more technically involved than the other methods. It is not available on the Google Play Store (as patched apps violate Google's policies) and must be sideloaded.

For users comfortable with Android sideloading, YouTube ReVanced offers the most seamless dislike viewing experience on Android — fully integrated into the native app. For everyone else, our online tool or the Firefox addon are simpler and equally reliable.
